This course introduces students to the principles and practices of negotiation and conflict resolution in organizational settings. Students will examine the causes and dynamics of interpersonal and organizational conflict while learning strategies for collaborative, interest-based negotiation and problem solving. Topics include workplace conflict, negotiation strategies, power and influence, culture and diversity, emotional intelligence, communication, ethical decision-making, and conflict management. Through case studies and applied activities, students will develop the skills to negotiate effectively, manage conflict constructively, and strengthen relationships while supporting organizational goals.
